Ah, what more could one in the North ask for? Light breeze, scarce clouds, and SUN-SHINE! Yeah! Summer has finally arrived. The trees are on the brink of budding, the grass is filling in where the snow was just weeks ago (or to be technical, in some cases, Monday), and Alaska is, for me, back to being an unpredictable playground! The streets of the big city are bustling with downtown workers, tourists, bums, and hot dog vendors. Everyone is happy to be wearing sunglasses and able to get outside without risking frostbite. Summer is SO NEAR!
(For everyone who has been experiencing this weather for weeks and possibly months, THANKS for hanging in with me during my winter blues... and please refrain from mentioning how much greater your weather is still. Loves, mo )
