The Coolness Factor

It's an interesting thing...the coolness factor. Everyone has a level of it in themselves- only to be judged in settings requiring a level of coolness. In Alaska is where I have met some of the most chill people. It led me to ponder today: what is the coolness factor?

I believe a lot of it has to do with maturity and self confidence. I believe the rest of it has to do with personality. There are obvious levels of coolness- the way someone always makes you feel welcome, the calm and collected demeanor of others, the responsiveness of any given situation. While measuring up the people you know and the traits that make them, well, them, I think brings into perspective a person's own particular "coolness".

Is it really something worth evaluating? Probably not. But this is my blog and for some reason, I felt compelled to write a ditty on it.

What's my point? Good question. Find the balance of "cool" without going over to "icy".

good stuff... icy is appropriate at times though...
